Solace Chat got a big update - get the new app one last time
A new look, a Translate button on every message, game items with icons and apps that update themselves. Download the app once more - it is the last time you have to.
Solace Chat just got its biggest update so far.
What's new
- New look: a cleaner dark design and a new icon.
- Translate: every message has a Translate button. Turn on automatic translation in Settings and read every language channel in your own language. It runs on our own server - your messages never leave it.
- Game items in chat: type `[[` or `@` and part of an item name, pick it from the list, and it shows up with its icon. Tap it to see the details.
- Unread badge: a red dot for new messages, a number for messages and mentions for you.
- Forgot your chat password? Log in on the website, open Solace Chat in your account and choose Set a new chat password - no e-mail needed.
Get the new app - one last time
The old app cannot update itself, so download it once more and install it over the old one. You stay logged in.
- Windows: download Solace Chat for Windows and run it. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, click More info, then Run anyway. From now on the app updates itself: new versions download in the background and install when you restart the app.
- Android: download Solace Chat for Android, open the file and tap Update. From now on the app tells you when a new version is out - one tap to get it.
- iPhone and browser: nothing to do - you always have the newest version.
