Update v42 is live - Gisele, Theia, Espina Rosa and the Korean v42 (Ver. 42.14.28)

Granado Espada Solace makes its biggest jump yet: from v41 straight to the current Korean version 42.14.28. This is the largest update since launch. Here is everything that changed.

How to update

• Close the launcher completely (also from the system tray) and open it again.
• It downloads the update (about 180 MB). Let it finish.
• Start the game. The login screen now shows Ver. 42.14.28.
• If the launcher says it is too old, download the newest launcher from the Download page.

New characters and stance

• Gisele - a brand-new character, straight from Korea.
• Theia - a new rod user.
• Theia's [Field Analysis] no longer expires.
• Theia's x2 / x3 bonus damage now shows in the yellow skill-bonus colour, as in Korea.
• Espina Rosa - a new, third stance for Leona and Code Name L.
• Espina Rosa's [Preludio] lasts 600 seconds in PvE and survives a PvE death. PvP is unchanged.
• Mery - a new pet.

Lyndon Box - Gisele & Theia edition

• Gisele Card and Theia Card are in the box (0.167 % each).
• Also new in the box: the [Espina Rosa] Stance Book, Baby Pet Box (Mery) and Cor Novum.
• The Great Food reward is gone. Its chance went to the other rewards.
• Every family's Lyndon counter starts again from 0, so all milestones and the bonus ladder restart for everyone.
• 100th open: Gisele Card or Theia Card (50 / 50).
• 200th open: Artifact Polish x100, Polish Protect x100, or a Gold Package (Gisele or Theia).
• 300th open: Artifact Polish x150, Polish Protect x150, Magic Enchant Stabilizer x100, or a Unique Package (Gisele or Theia).
• 400th open: Magic Enchant Stabilizer x200, Artifact Polish x150, Polish Protect x150, Growth Stone x200, or a Royal Package (Gisele or Theia).
• 500th open: Artifact Polish x200, Polish Protect x150, or a Special Package (Gisele or Theia).
• 600th open and every 100 after: Artifact Polish x300, Polish Protect x200, a Special Package (Gisele or Theia), or the [Espina Rosa] Stance Book.
• New fixed gifts: 5 Elemental Weapon Stone - Event at the 50th, 214th and 427th open; Armonia Armor Stone (Event) at the 275th, 590th and 905th open.
• [Blessing of Lyndon] now includes Gisele and Theia until 20 November 2026. Eunha (until 16 November) and Lilly (until 10 December) keep theirs.
• 500 opens = a free Gisele or Theia Card (random). It arrives in your cash cabinet automatically, once per account. All families of the account count together.
• New packages: Gold, Royal, Special and Unique Package for Gisele and Theia. Each has the hero's own card and two rings.
• All odds and rewards: Lyndon Box page.

Letizia Gift Box - redesigned (still 50 iCash)

• A new reward table.
• Eight hero cards with the same chance each: Claret, Braise, Wiesel, Rosie, Dina, Serena, Bacha and Pio MBoma (0.125 % each, 1 % together).
• Every 200th open: one of the eight cards, guaranteed.
• Every 800th open: also a jackpot - Placidez, Castigo or Valeron's Blessing x2.
• The count starts again after 800. A message after every open shows your progress.
• ALT + right-click on the box shows the new table.

Korean balance and artifacts

• Character and skill balance now follows the current Korean version, including the changes to Bacha, Dina and Serena. Solace's own changes stay.
• Team and self buff-power options now work, for example the relic bonuses Clear Sky and Prophet.
• Artifact enhancement for Normal, Elite and Unique artifacts with the new Refined Artifact Polish and Filtered Water.
• Filtered Water is in the Feso Shop.
• Chief Kurt [Execution] no longer expires and can no longer be removed.

600-second buffs (PvE)

• Character self-buffs and stance buffs last 600 seconds in PvE.
• They survive death and end only on a map or channel change.
• Changing stance or equipment no longer removes them. PvP keeps the old times.
• Tom - Surgery: the positive buffs last 600 seconds in PvE. The penalty after they end and the 30-second lockout are removed. Anesthesia's -50 % max HP stays.
• Freeday - Rocking: Chromatic lasts 600 seconds in PvE.
• Additional Training and Divine Might last 600 seconds.

Star-Up

• 11 more heroes can be starred: Dolores (Senior Member), Mistress Baselrane, Laval, Bianca, Zaved, Alchemist Veronif, Doom Slave, Leviathan, Ziz, Cadet Romina and Conductor Rio.
• The Star-Up ladder's AR / DR bonus now applies to all characters, not only the team leader.

Raids, shops and rewards

• Lucifer raid (Hard): the roulette grows from 9 to 15 slots.
• New Lucifer rewards: Solarion, Shiny Solarion, Protection of Valeron, Piece of Dark Fabric, Valeron recipes, 5 Elemental Weapon Box, Card Stone VII (5 per week), Ancient books, Cor Novum and Innate.
• Demonic Armonia (daily): a new reward table with 4 new tradable recipes and tradable Star-Up stones.
• In Demonic Armonia, Chest Enchant Chip Expert drops 20-30 as one stack.
• Luna (Rank Token Vendor): Karin's Vitality Potion now costs 50 tokens, up to 50 per month.
• Quiritatio Kit: now 500,000 Vis at the NPC.
• Feso Shop: the 1-hour Steroid Potion is replaced by the 10-hour Steroid Liquor for 100,000 Feso.
• Certificates: Bedel dailies give 12 (3 + 3 + 3 + 3), Illisia gives 4 per board quest, and Lynn now asks for 60 instead of 100.
• NPC sell prices of about 300 monster-drop items are restored.

Fixes

• Missing icons fixed: Filtered Water, Refined Artifact Polish and the small (quick slot) icon of stance books.
• In-game links and texts now point to granadoespada.to.
